Call for Poster Submissions

The Call for Posters is now open.

The JFPS Poster Program features original research and innovative practice reports from the Joint Forces pharmacy community on the following topics:

• Ambulatory Care Pharmacy
• Clinical Pharmacy
• Pharmacy Technicians
• Seminar Theme (Celebrating Joint Forces Pharmacy Health Care Excellence)

Education Sessions

Depending on their branch of service, participants are able to earn up to 18 hours of continuing pharmacy education (CPE) credits through education programming. Sessions are presented in three key content areas or "tracks":

• Pharmacy Business Operations and Leadership — covering leadership and operational skills needed to effectively work in or lead a military treatment facility (MTF) pharmacy.
• Pharmacy Services in a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) and Best Practices in Medication Therapy Management (MTM) — presenting best practices to successfully achieve the PCMH care model and develop clinical skills in MTM and disease management.
• Deployment and Emergency Response — focusing on pharmacy practice in a deployed or austere environment and the Joint Forces pharmacy role in establishing pharmacy support in an emergency or disaster.
